Reliance Jio is working to quickly roll out 5G services to every corner of the country. Building on its ultra-fast connectivity, the company has rolled out 5G services in an additional 16 cities across seven states. The new cities where the company is providing jio true5g coverage are Kakinada, Kurnool (Andhra Pradesh), Silchar (Assam), Davangere, Shivamogga, Bidar, Hospet, Gadag-Betageri (Karnataka), Malappuram, Palakkad, Kottayam, Kannur (Kerala), Tiruppur (Tamil Nadu), Nizamabad, Hamam (Telangana) and many cities of Uttar Pradesh like Kanpur, Lucknow and Ghaziabad.

Jio True5G Plan and Services

Jio true 5g is the first and only operator to roll out 5G services in these 16 cities. Jio, the telecommunications arm of Reliance Industries, said that Jio users in these cities can enjoy unlimited data at 1 Gbps+ speeds at no additional cost as part of the Jio Welcome offer. The telco said Jio recently announced 5G connectivity services in Chhattisgarh, Bihar and Jharkhand on the occasion of Makar Sankranti.

A Jio spokesperson said, “We are proud to roll out Jio True5G service in 16 more cities across 7 states, bringing the total of these cities to 134.” He said that we are expanding the deployment of True 5G across the country has accelerated. Because we want every Jio user to also be able to take advantage of jio true5g data technology in the new year 2023.

With the launch of the True 5G Jio service, customers will not only get the best network, but also many development opportunities in e-governance, education, automation, artificial intelligence, gaming, healthcare, agriculture, IT.

  1. Install MyJio App in your device from Google Play Store or App Store and login will be done automatically with the help of Jio number.
  2. After opening the app, you will have to go to ‘True 5G’ from the tabs shown above.
  3. Here also you will get ‘Is your device 5G ready?’ The button will appear in blue colour and has to be tapped.
  4. The message appearing on the screen will tell whether your phone will get the benefit of Jio True 5G or not.
